Fixing things

There is nothing special today to work on. The site is basically finished, well the layout has been changed for the photo site. I'll try to tweak the site a bit in the next time.

  • I found a small bug in the guestbook script so I changed it. The website link posted by a visitor showed up with a bug. I checked the code and found a way to fix this. I haven't done the guestbook, but I changed it. Now everything should work fine. Also changed the comment color in the guestbook.

In the middle of the night

It's Thursday night, almost 1 AM CET, Yes, you read it right, it's the middle of the night and I'm working on the website. You think that I'm a freak, . . . . well, you're right, again. Anyway, here are a few changes I did.

  • Browsing throught the "manipulation" section is changed.
  • Removed the image fade effect from the "manipulation" gallery and "linkage" section
  • Mouse over status bar info effect enabled aswell mouse over text popup (or whatever it's called) for the "manipulation"

Fresh and new stuff 2nd

A sunny Wednesday morning, the right time to keep up the work on my website. I've worked on it for the past hour and I got the "art" section finished. Finnaly the site is updated to the latest css file. The old info's are still in the css file, only for the case that I have to put it back for some reason. I forgot to keep a backup of the previos things, the ones I changed the last couple of days. Hmmmmm, I think there is one on a CD, I have to check it out later.

  • The "home" site got the new style. I'm not sure if it's good to have it on this site, too, but this way the whole site has the same style. The three pictures on this site have been changed. They're a bit smaller than they were.
  • Updated some links in the "my computer" section
  • Changed some bugs in the whole "pictures" section. Some small position mistakes I did yesterday
  • The "linkage" section is updated with the new css style. Three new website links are up aun-juli.com, artastik.net and ivanschneider.com. Check out those sites.
  • The "contact" section has its new outfit, too
  • The "legals & thanks " section has a new structure and the new layout. I seperated the "copyright" and the "thanks" parts of this section. Changed a few words in the copyright text. I have to work on the text to make it sound more understandable.

Fresh and new stuff 1st

It's sunny Tuesday morning and I'm tired like hell, well anyway. It's a good day to get something done on this website so here is what I've done so far, . . . . today.

  • Fixed some small bug in the "news" section
  • The "manipulation" and "wallpaper" sections are updated to the newest layout style. I have to change the way you browse the pictues for the manipulation section and I have to add wallpapers to the wallpaper section.
  • The "logons" section is updated to the newest layout style. I have to work on one thing at this section. I have to find a way to place the title of the section. Since there are no subsections I can't use the the layout the same way like in the "news"" or "photography" section
  • The "photography"" section has been updated, too
  • The "about. . ." section got a facelift, It's shining in the new layout. Besides the new css settings, I seperated the different parts of the section. You'll see a navigator on the left which will take you to the infos you would like to know. You can choose between "me", "this website" and "my computer"
  • I got a new desktop

Here I am again

It has been almost one month since the last update. I was a bit busy with other things so I couldn't work on the website. I hope that this wasn't a problem.

I still try to fix some layout problems, try to make the layout look a bit better. I'm not sure if I'm doing it good, but I think I'm on the right way.

  • The link color of the navigation area on the left has changed. It's a nit darker, it works better with the background of the area
  • The "news" section got a new touch. I took the same css style for the news liek for the navigator. The different colors make the diffent news easier to find. The dated do that, too, but this way the site has more life, even if some people will think that the colors are too primitive and boring.
  • The "photography" section is fully updated with the latest style
